Originally sung in the Sardinian cantu a concorde style, “A Me Brunetta” entered the Corsican repertoire via Voce di Corsica in the 1990s. We learned this arrangement from Frédéric Vesperini; it combines Corsican ornamentation with the startling parallel harmonies of Sardinia.
